CJ Griffin Quoted in Editorial on Legislature's Exemption from Open Public Records Act (OPRA)

CJ Griffin attorney at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. was quoted in NJ.com editorial, “Dear Legislature: Your correspondence shouldn’t be secret.”

The editorial examines why the New Jersey Legislature is treated differently when it comes to Open Public Records.

“Right now, those exemptions are so broad that if you just wrote a thank you note or a post-it note to a lawmaker and said good job, that would fall under the exemption,” said attorney C.J. Griffin of Pashman Stein, an expert in public records law.
