CJ Griffin, Partner and Director of the Justice Gary S. Stein Public Interest Center at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., was quoted in a NorthJersey.com article, “Attorney General Publishes List of Police Misconduct Five Months Past Due Date.” Griffin speaks on the lengthy delays in internal police investigations, and the importance of transparency regarding these investigations.

"What we really need to know is all the complaints that weren't sustained and why," said Griffin, speaking on accusations against law enforcement officers that didn’t bring about any discipline. Griffin also called for the release of all internal affairs reports, no matter their conclusions.

"When we get transparency there, we see that the investigations weren't thorough or complete, or the investigators reached questionable conclusions," Griffin said, alleging that these findings are commonplace among the investigation reports the attorney receives through lengthy public records requests.
