Stein Public Interest Center at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., was mentioned on northjersey.com in the Opinion column, “Make law NJ enforcement disciplinary records accessible to the public.” The Opinion suggests that it is time for New Jersey to catch up with other states that have made strides to provide transparency in the police internal affairs process and police disciplinary records.

Attorney C.J. Griffin’s updated analysis of a 2015 WNYC report on police misconduct indicates that thirty states, including Florida, Colorado, Alabama, and Ohio, give the public at least partial access to discipline records, and are more transparent than New Jersey.
