CJ Griffin and Rachel E. Simon represented several non-profit organizations as amicus curiae before the New Jersey Supreme Court when they successfully argued that immigration status cannot form the basis for a court’s pretrial detention decision under the Criminal Justice Reform Act (CJRA).
